The film, cinema and real estate industries only have few points of contact at first glance. Location decisions, property development and management are also key success factors in my corporate home. Apart from that, the corporate culture in medium-sized companies that are run like family businesses is often comparable.
The tension between improvising in partnership and adhering to formal framework conditions exists in many cases. Sensible bureaucracy, as well as control and entrepreneurial flexibility, must be balanced.
It is also good for a company whose core team has been welded together for decades to get an outside business perspective.
Thus, I am convinced that I can offer added value to the group of companies as a Supervisory Board member and I am delighted by the level of cooperation that has already lasted several years.
